Often, customers ask me a question: How long can your Dongguan mold warming machine last?
In my conscience, I cannot answer this question accurately. Some of the Dongguan mold warming machines manufactured by Daheda have been in use for more than a decade and are still in good use, while others have been in use for four or five years and have replaced pump and other accessories.
"For mechanical equipment, the quality of the equipment itself is important, but safety precautions during use, as well as maintenance and care knowledge, are also important.". The following are some precautions for maintenance of Dongguan mold temperature machine:
1、 External piping requirements for Dongguan mold heater
1. For piping, please refer to the following temperatures for use and select external piping:
Piping quality Maximum service temperature Maximum service time
Cotton yarn tube 60 ℃ for about half a year
Medium pressure skin tube 120 ℃ for about one year
Teflon tube 200 ℃ for about one year
Stainless steel bellows above 200 ℃ for about one year
Note 1. The service life of the pipeline may be shortened due to environmental impact.
Note 2. Do not use cotton yarn tubes for the cooling water pipes of the oil temperature machine, as the water temperature may exceed 60 ℃. If cotton yarn tubes are used, the pipes may easily break.
Note 3. Quick connect fittings can be used for pipe connections below 120 ℃, and oil pressure connections must be used above this temperature. Due to high pipe pressure, do not use inserts and tube bundles.
2、 Selection and replacement of heat transfer media for Dongguan mold heater
Maximum operating temperature Recommended heat medium oil model replacement time
200 ℃ ESSO500, Mobil 603, Mobil 605, Japan Sasakawa TH320 Replacement up to six months
Mobil 605 above 250 ℃ can be replaced within a maximum of six months
Note 1: Please choose one of heat medium oil, semi synthetic oil, and silicone oil to use. Due to different oil properties, do not mix them. If mixed, it can easily produce oil sludge, causing blockage, and in severe cases, it will not be able to be removed.
Note 2: Please replace the return oil regularly every year. If the temperature exceeds 150 ℃ for long-term use, depending on the oil situation, replace it every three to six months.
Note 3: When replacing the return oil, please be careful not to let water or foreign matter fall into the oil tank.
