In the actual operation of water cooled chillers, water cooled industrial chillers, water cooled box chillers, and water cooled chiller cooling water systems, there are often the following types of misoperations:
(1) Failure to close the water inlet valve of the condenser on the unit that does not need to be opened prior to startup caused water channeling. A portion of the cooling return water flows away from the condenser of the unopened unit, reducing the cooling water flow in the condenser of the operating unit, causing the condensation pressure to rise, the operating current of the host machine to increase, and the cooling capacity of the unit to decrease. In serious cases, it can also cause the unit to stop operating, which not only wastes electricity, but also reduces the cooling effect, and is easy to damage the equipment.
(2) Due to the previous misoperation, the condensing pressure and cooling water outlet temperature of the host machine increased. It has caused misjudgment for the operator, mistakenly believing that the cooling water volume is insufficient and opening the condenser inlet valve and cooling water pump outlet valve, and some have also increased the cooling tower fan, resulting in increased power consumption of the water pump and cooling tower fan
(3) What's more, blindly adding a cooling water pump. Although adding a cooling water pump can indeed reduce the cooling water temperature and condensation pressure, after all, the electrical energy generated by the operation of a water pump has been wasted in vain. Therefore, the correct operation method for adding a wrong cooling water system is:
(1) Before starting up, close the water inlet valve of the condenser of the unit that does not need to be operated to prevent water leakage.
(2) Open the water inlet and outlet valves on the condenser of the unit to be operated (generally, the water outlet valve is normally open, and the water inlet valve is opened and closed as needed. Both the condenser and the evaporator are the same). Start the corresponding cooling water pump, and adjust the inlet and outlet pressures of the condenser to reduce to about 68,6kPa (0,7kg/cm:) (The pressure drop should be based on the principle of overcoming pipeline resistance, and a lower pressure will have a better power saving effect).
(3) If the pointer of the condenser inlet and outlet water pressure gauge swings excessively, it indicates that there is air in the cooling water system, and it is necessary to exhaust the air until the pressure gauge indicates normal operation.
(4) During operation, no matter how many units are operated, one cooling water pump is used for each host (matching should be the same).
For a running water cooled water chiller, water cooled industrial water chiller, water cooled box type water chiller, and water cooled water chiller, the environmental conditions and load have all become fixed values. At this time, the condensation heat load is also fixed. The specified temperature difference between inlet and outlet water is 5 ℃, and the cooling water volume must also be a certain value, and the flow rate is inversely proportional to the temperature difference between inlet and outlet water. Therefore, for the operation of water cooled chillers, water cooled industrial chillers, water cooled box chillers, and water cooled chillers, it is only necessary to specify the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the cooling water. This flow rate is usually controlled by the pressure drop of the cooling water entering and exiting the condenser. Under standard operating conditions, the condenser inlet and outlet water pressure drop is set to 68.6 kPa (0,7 kg/cm:).
