(1) The cooling water temperature is too high and the condensation effect is poor. The cooling water required for the chiller is rated at 30-35 ℃, with high water temperature and poor heat dissipation, which inevitably leads to high condensation pressure. This phenomenon often occurs in high temperature seasons. The reasons for high water temperature may be: cooling tower failure, such as the fan not turning on or even reversing, and the water distributor not rotating, which indicates that the cooling water temperature is very high and rapidly rising; The external temperature is high, the water path is short, and the recyclable water volume is small. In this case, the temperature of the cooling water is generally maintained at a high level, which can be solved by increasing the storage tank.
(2) The cooling water flow is insufficient to reach the rated water flow. The main performance is that the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet water of the unit becomes smaller (compared to the pressure difference at the beginning of system operation), and the temperature difference becomes larger. The cause of insufficient water flow is a lack of water or air in the system. The solution is to install an exhaust valve at a high place in the pipeline for exhaust; If the pipeline filter is blocked or selected too fine, and the water permeability is limited, appropriate filters should be selected and the filter screen should be cleaned regularly; The selection of water pumps is small and does not match the system.
(3) Condenser scaling or clogging. Generally, condensed water is used as tap water, which is prone to scaling when the temperature is above 30 ℃. Moreover, due to the open cooling tower, which is directly exposed to the air, dust and foreign matters can easily enter the cooling water system, causing fouling of the condenser, small heat exchange area, low efficiency, and also affecting water flow. The performance is that the pressure difference and temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water of the unit become larger, and the temperature of both the upper and lower parts of the condenser is very high when you touch it with your hand, resulting in a hot hand on the condenser outlet copper pipe. The unit should be regularly backwashed and, if necessary, chemically cleaned to remove scale.
(4) Excessive refrigerant charge. This situation generally occurs after maintenance, manifested by high suction and discharge pressures, balance pressures, and high compressor operating current. The air shall be bled under rated working conditions according to the suction and exhaust pressure, balance pressure, and operating current until it is normal.
(5) The refrigerant is mixed with non-condensable gases such as air and nitrogen. This situation generally occurs after maintenance and the vacuum is not thoroughly evacuated. Only drain, vacuum again, and refill with refrigerant.
(6) False alarms caused by electrical faults.
